The Capsule Story, founded in 2019 and based in Singapore, is led by a dedicated artisan crafter. The Capsule Story is a unique and innovative business based in Singapore, offering an immersive experience through creative and customizable capsules. How We Started:
The founder started off with a very strong interest in craftworks and gardening, she wanted to share her works with more people and started her home-based business, crafting custom made terrariums for customers at leisure in Carousell. When Covid came in 2020, people started to appreciate more with family and friends, the demand for custom made terrariums increased, we also expanded our products variety in Do-It-Yourself terrarium sets and supply materials to schools, organizations, whereby people can hands-on and build their own terrarium as a group or for their loved ones. The idea for The Capsule Story was born out of a deep desire to offer something more meaningful in a world saturated with generic gifts. As a team of passionate individuals with diverse creative backgrounds, we felt that the art of gifting had lost its personal touch. With the rise of online shopping, many people were turning to mass-produced gifts that lacked the thoughtfulness and emotion that truly made a gift special.
We wanted to create something that would help people reconnect with the essence of gift-giving. A capsule, something small but packed with meaning, became the perfect medium to create a lasting impression.
